guirlandes/fanions en tissu qui habilleront les espaces du festival et feront vibrer les rues aux couleurs du théâtre ! Ce festival c’est un concentré d’énergie artistique et populaire, du 21 au 24 mai, dans plusieurs quartiers de Givors. Un temps fort festif et ouvert à toutes et tous, qui met à l’honneur le théâtre de rue, le cirque burlesque, la danse, le beatbox, le hip hop…

Au programme :

• Présentation du festival
• Découpe de tissus colorés et création des fanions
• Assemblage sur corde pour former de longues guirlandes festives
• Les tissus sont issus de récup’ (Emmaüs, friperies…) pour une déco éco-responsable. Matériel fourni, mais vous pouvez aussi apporter vos chutes de tissu!

En mai et juin, rendez-vous aux jardins

Depuis plusieurs années, la ville de Givors porte le développement de jardins partagés, collectifs et nourriciers dans les quartiers prioritaires de la ville. Tout au long de l’année, un travail important est réalisé par des collectifs d'habitants, des associations locales, les bailleurs sociaux et les services municipaux de la ville de Givors pour faire découvrir ces lieux proches de chez soi, profiter de ces espaces mais aussi s’engager.

Espaces de rencontre, de découvertes, d'émerveillement ou d’activités, les jardins sont à l’honneur à Givors en mai et juin 2025 avec plus d’une vingtaine d’événements ouverts à toutes et tous

Pour cette 1^ere édition de la fête des jardins, venez nombreux participer aux animations qui sont proposées, découvrir ces lieux partagés et pourquoi pas vous investir ensuite dans les actions qui sont portées.

Calendrier

Au centre-ville et Tours Thorez :

• 21 mai : plantation d’aromates (place des jouteurs)
• 24 mai : fête des voisins et concert (théâtre de verdure)
• 7, 14 21, 28 mai puis 4, 11, 18 et 25 juin : atelier d’art postale (théâtre de verdure)
• 7, 14 et 21 juin : médiation exposition « jardin en scène » (MDFR)
• 26 mai et 30 juin : permanence jardinage/bricolage (jardin des Tours)
• 11 juin : atelier de création photomontage et visite commentée de l’exposition à la MDFR (jardin des Tours et parc MDFR)
• En juin : ramassage des rosiers de Damas (Tours Thorez)
• 12 juin : animation jardinage (jardin des Tours)
• 12 juin : transhumance urbaine (quartier Tours Thorez)

Aux plaines

• 6 mai et 2 juin : permanence jardinage / bricolage (jardin Yves Farge)
• 11 juin : animation jardinage (jardin Yves Farge)
• 11 juin : transhumance urbaine (quartier des Plaines)

Aux Vernes :

• 7 mai : atelier créatif : "pierre de jardin, jardin de pierre" : pyrogravure, peinture sur galets, tatakizome... (jardin des Vernes de Terre, point lecture des Vernes rue Romain Rolland)
• 17 mai : 48 h de l'agriculture urbaine ! animation à la ferme, plantation, visite de ferme, goûter (Ferme "les fermiers de Vernes" 1 rue Jacques Duclos)
• 22 mai, 5 et 19 juin : permanence de jardinage/bricolage (1 rue Jacques Duclos)
• 6 juin : animation au jardin et fête du point lecture (jardin des Vernes de Terre, point lecture des Vernes rue Romain Rolland)
• 6 juin : vernissage-goûter de l'exposition de Nathalie MillPa (jardin jules Vallès, 6 cité Jules Vallès)
• 10 juin : parcours découverte des jardins des Vernes et de la ferme (départ Maison des projets, 6-7 allée Jean Moulin, arrivée Ferme " Les Fermiers des Vernes")
• 10 juin : transhumance urbaine (quartier des Vernes)
• 14 juin : première vente de la ferme habitante et repas collectif (Ferme "Les Fermiers des Vernes", 1 rue Jacques Duclos)
• 18 juin : inauguration du Jardin la Roseraie (12-13 rue Romain Rolland)
• Tous les mercredis après-midi : Animation jardinage/bricolage (jardin des Vernes de Terre, point lecture des Vernes rue Romain Rolland)

Un événement porté par la Politique de la ville et le développement urbain de la ville de Givors, les incroyables comestibles, Eisenia, les Amis des Arts de Givors, O tour de Nous, MNLE, la médiathèque municipale, la Sauge, Alliade habitat, les fermiers des Vernes, le collectif de la Roseraie de Givors.
